FAQ - Transcript Delivery Questions
I have successfully uploaded a transcript request, but no transcripts are sent to my secure mailbox. What's wrong?
There could be several underlying issues:
- You do not have a valid POA on the individual or business for which you are requesting transcripts.
- You have filed a POA by fax and the POA has not been filed with CAF.
- CAF is not currently operational.
- E-Services is currently experiencing a high volume of traffic. Fulfilling the request may take a longer time than normal.

I keep getting email notifications from E-services about tax information being placed into and removed from my IRS secure mailbox. How can I stop this?
These email notifications are a security feature of IRS E-services and cannot be disabled. However, you can configure your email client to delete these emails or move them to a specified directory. All TDS related emails should originate from TDSeservices@irs.gov and contain the text "Transaction ID -" in the subject. Please consult your email client documentation for help creating a message rule.
I keep getting a pop-up message for "Just in Time Script Debugging." How can I stop this?
This issue can easily be resolved by modifying your Internet Explorer settings. You must disable script debugging in order to prevent this dialog from appearing. If you have Windows XP, you can do this by performing the following steps:
- Click Start | Control Panel. If you see a link in the sidebar entitled, "Switch to Classic View," click it. You will now see a list of icons and comments in the Control Panel.
- Double-click the Internet Options icon. This will launch the Internet Properties dialog box.
- In the Internet Properties dialog box, activate the Advanced tab.
- On the Advanced tab and under the Browsing node, ensure that both "Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer)" and "Disable Script Debugging (Other)" are checked.
- Click the OK command button to apply changes and close the dialog.
